This place is a sanctuary ???????? somehow at my lowest point God brought me here . After battling addiction for 17 years I have finally been able to grab a hold of my life and be proud of myself for doing something good! I did a year of program and now I am growing with them to help other ladies like they helped me. The staff CARES. I’ve learned to be responsible, to open my heart back up again, and learned what a really means to be a Christian, to love people ???? wouldn’t trade this experience for the world!
Being here at the California location has taught me how to fully accept myself. I'm learning in the leadership academy daily about my identity and how to walk as a true follower in Christ. I'm also being provided with the right instructions on how to use the tools the Holy Spirit has giving me with each individual lady. I don't think I could ever thank God enough for the Hoving Home Ministry. He has answered my prayers on so many different levels and has grown my ways of thinking and responding within the past 15 months.
This home is such a blessing. It truly helped me to change the way I live and think to walk in the purpose God predestined for me. He did not plan for me to be a drug addict - I am set free. This home helped to heal me from the inside out. The most important page in my life was coming here. This is not just a rehab- it is Holy Spirit led with love and compassion- structure and guidance. Not always easy but very worth the time spent here. And if you fall back they have a restoration program to get you back on track in life. I learned about Jesus in jail and then I learned to have a relationship with Jesus here. Thank God for this home.
What people will never understand is that the mighty set schedule which is amazing! For anybody that needs it the fact that they take you in advance to poor cities and make you go door-to-door to beg for money and tell your story, 100% unexcusable!!!! You cannot preach the word of God and for somebody to tell stories they don't want to tell about themselves
I love the Hoving Home. It gave me a safe place to heal. I was able to get delivered from many addictions. I was able to get some restoration with my Daughter and other members of my family. I also was able to not only complete the 12 month program I was accepted into the leadership academy program they offer to further my education with the Lord. I have a family here and I am blessed. I hope I can now be a blessing to others. ????
